Out of interest will this fit my 2000 X1 ? - I have the crappy 1st recall shock (16.5' or 420mm) hoping Maz will put me right

interesting comment that shock was off for repair when bike was stolen,mmmm do you think he stripped bike B4 "It was knicked"???

I would be concerned about the length, doesn't look right, but then what do I know?

:idea: Do you think he is measuring tip to tip instead of the distance between the mounting eyes? In which case I think it is a post recall 380mm job.
