No Maz, I don't, The disc that's fitted is what was on when I bought the bike. The paperwork shows that the disc was changed back in Oct' 1999.....

The bike will also come with a set of touring bars and a set of drop bars off an RS1200 (I think!)

Bugger.....it's hit the reserve..........s'pose I'm gonna have to sell it now.

A little bit of me wanted it not to....so I could say to SWMBO that I had tried my best but I'd just have to keep it a while longer......should have put the reserve higher I suppose. :cretin:

Trouble is, my KTM is far more practical for what I need and it's just unreasonable to have two motorbikes.....apparently......

Where in the marriage vows does it say you should only have one bike?

I sold a mint BSA B50ss because "I never used it" converted the cash into a patio then sold the house ended up with nuffin but photos :( .

I hope for you that the bid doubles over the weekend. 8-)
In the sea of illiteracy that is Ebay, your ad stands out like a beacon. Nice one.

IMO, and sorry to follow a side-track which you opened, but there's little unreasonable about 2 bikes. Annual costs are £20 extra on the insurance and something like £65 RFT. The interest you'd get, if you can find an interest bearing account, would amount to another £20-odd so that's £100 a year to have two bikes.

If your two bikes are different enough that they complement rather than compete, rather than unreasonable, that seems like a bargain to me!

Ah well, the S2 has gone now...picked up today by Christian who is on his way back to Britanny with it........to join his collection of an RS1200, S3T and X1. (At least it's gone to an enthusiast.)

I shall have another one day....perhaps a nice S1 White Lightning next........

Sorry Maz, I didn't know you were interested....that's why I put the link up here....... you've helped me out in the past and I would have gladly pulled the auction if I'd known.....you'd have got it for a lot less that £2700 too.......

Ah well, no good looking back I suppose........
