Nice bike. Take a £4k bike with close to zero second hand buyer appeal, spend £7k on it. Result? You have a £4k bike with an even narrower market appeal. Resulting in a £4k bike and a £7k loss. I suppose you could get lucky. But I'd keep it if I had spent that on it. The bikes that are worth the most long term are those that are 100% factory stock, every time.

Well, I love it.

A lot of work & a Crackin' job by the look of it.
Looks like it's ready to charge & kick some ass.

Good on you! Screw keeping bikes standard! Whether they keep their value or not is a matter for the potential buyer to assess. If I was you I'd just wait for someone who appreciates the work, likes the style & is willing to pay for it. It looks like a proper bargain to me. Just buy & ride it, nothing to do to it (except stainless Bolts). I'd have it in a heartbeat, if I had the ready cash rather than try & build one like it, definitely 100%.

Good luck with the sale buddy. Paul

Bit contentious that....but 100% agree.....how many times do you see an ad that mentions " thousands spent" and you think, good for you but you're never getting that back. Having said that, it does look a nicely modded bike in the pics but if there was a stock bike for the same money next to it , that would be my choice....

Bit harsh. Trolls? Condemning?
Don't know if you'd noticed, Jill, but since the fall of Bliar & Broon, we are now allowed to express our own opinions again? ;)
