Im not sure if this is of any interest to any one but im thinking of selling a project I started. Only reason im selling is because ive 4 bikes and an operation coming up and I dont know if im up to it being honest.

Bike is a 1999 Buell X1- 24000 miles before strip down.
Currently complete chassis is stripped,all bearings removed and everything is baged and taged.
Motor is intact - this is where im caught, ideally could do with complete strip down as last donkey that owned it sprayed it with matt black which is now flaking badly. I dont know if im up for rebuilding it myself.
There is a ding on headers.
-PM wheels
-force winder
-vance and hines exhaust

I dont want to break it for parts, just either looking to get my money back on what ive done or ill finish it at some stage.

Price is 1800 euro and I can email photos on request.Bike is in Kerry in Ireland.

It is willy , just can't decide what to do with it , will either be a proper job or no job at all, engine was running fine but just looks rough . Don't wanna put rough engine is new frame etc

That's a shame your so far from me I would of finished your project off, like many others on here I'm sure. If you still want to sell and we could work something out about collection let me know. Don't sell it for bits love X1's and they are becoming quite few an far between.

Definitely wont be broken, not by me anyway, would love to finish it myself but even when its finished I dont know will I use it. I have an xb9 too and im thinking about selling that instead. As Maz says there 'the bic biro of motorcycles' and dont know which I would prefer to keep long term. Have had a good bit of interest but my location is sticking problem. Trying to get a price to send it to UK on a pallet at the moment.
