For sale 2001 Buell M2 bought from Fei-Lo on the forum back in 2012. Very low mileage of 6467 miles and MOT’d until March 2018.

As you can probably tell, it doesn’t get a lot of use and I haven’t put a lot of miles on it and apart from oil and filter changes and a new pair of Pilot Road threes which have only done a couple of hundred miles, the bike has needed little spending on it.

Full US gearing with Dakota digital speedo calibrator so speedo is bob on.

With the bike will come a pretty mint original exhaust, hugger, European pulleys and a few bits and pieces.

It will also come with a beautiful ornament in the shape of a Lucky Hands oil pump gear and all gaskets/seals to fit; even a camshaft locking tool to do the job with. I had intended to get the cam cover cut down at the same time but just didn’t get round to it. I did, however, manage to get round to fitting one of the brilliant Spondon440 fuel cap mods.

The only bad point is that the front wheel was polished very nicely some time in the past and the owner at the time clearly intended on doing the rear and never got past shot blasting it. There are also a couple of scratches on the swing arm.

Price wise I’d like to get around £3800.

Should be able to get what you want, I'd think. Can't go wrong with a M2 zombie apocalypse bike. Plastic panels look to be in good shape. And finishing polishing the rear wheel should be easy enough for most anyone.

I see a S&S air cleaner. S&S Super E or G carb or the stock CV40 still?

Thanks,

Still has the standard CV carb on but I think the air cleaner looks quite neat.

Yeah, it's all in good order and I'm in no rush to sell. I've gone back in time a bit and bought myself an old Z1000 A1 which is just gorgeous. I don't really have room for two bikes but can just about get along. If it doesn't sell I shall give it my mate on a free loan as soon as he's finished his building work ( he's currently using his garage as a kitchen!) :D

Right, so, This still isn't being used and is taking up space in my garage. I need the space right now more than I need the money so is there any interest in this at 3K?
