Am I missing something here?

Striking whilst the iron is hot. I suspect cheap ULEZ compliant bikes will only go up in value/become rarer as 2021 approaches and rarer still if you're after a specific brand/model as BabyBadger is.

From April 2019 , you cant go in to the inner ULEZ zone without a compliant bike unless you pay £12.50 a day ......

From October 2021 , my address is in the extended zone , so i cant even ride off my driveway let alone go into central london without a compliant bike. I could move......

I will probably run it one more year and then shelve it and get a Versys or something for blatting about , as they can get full luggage on as well.

If you can swing it, the 2019 Versys 1000 SE LT+ is absolutely brilliant. I'd ridden it at the AIMS Expo in Dallas. Electronic damping, cornering lights, 6 axis IMU with all the electronic goodies, 150mm of suspension for your shit roads, darn comfortable and the 1043cc is nice and strong.

My '11 Ninja 1000 has been flawless and great performing all this time. But it's tempted me to go less sporty for more comfort and safety for very long trips. The cornering lights are effin' great. It's going for about $18k in the states.

But then I've also been interested in the H2 SX SE as well. We live in a great time to buy bikes.
