Long shot , but has anyone got a half decent ulysees 07 onwards that is ULEZ compliant that they wouldnt mind swapping for an X1 2001?

I will shelve mine in a shed if no interest, but I will be just in the ULEZ zone from 2021 , so looking now!

You sort of sparked my interest there. Shame mine's an early 06 version, not that I need an excuse to keep it.

According to above link, it's not compliant.
Apologies if I've mislead you, yes I'd have a X1 given the right circumstances but wouldn't be willing to let this Uly go which I've had from new (Nov 2005).
Hope you get a sensible/genuine offer.
Del

Thanks for the interest. I will probably run it one more year and then shelve it and get a Versys or something for blatting about , as they can get full luggage on as well.

My Uly which is on an 08 plate is compliant according to that link , so lots of Ulys will be . Mines not available though I'm afraid.

Thanks mate.

Just put new plugs in and now MOTd , running beautifully today, tempted to keep unless I get a different offer come up....ULEZ means paying £12.50 a day 24/7 if inside the North/South Circular in 2021 , so loads of time to decide!

I'll even consider a Versys 650/1000 with full luggage.......

I can leave the bike at my mum's house as its completely out of the area, but if I drive it off my driveway it will cost me £12.50/ day from 2021. The pain is I am 2 roads the wrong side of the A205!

So I am on the hunt for a cheap ULEZ bike now if I cant stay in the Buell branding for everyday use.

Why not sell the X1 to Sillyb who is looking for one, and buy a Uly with the proceeds?
