Hi all,

I'M selling my xb12x ulysses as its time to move on to a newer bike. Its an 06 model registered sept 05. I've had it for 6 years and its never been any bother except for a couple of wheel bearings and usual consumables. Its condition is really quite good for its year and has just turned over 30000 miles which isn't a lot for a 15 year bike. Its had 3 owners. It has a service history up until I bought it then I did the usual oil and filter changes myself and what ever else needed doing. Theres a set of paniers to go with it which to be honest have seen better days, but are still functional. It has heated grips and a pair of spotlights. i have a spare seat and the original handlebars. Also have a spare drive belt somewhere(second hand). The bike will come with a full mot, but if you want to take it yourself I'll knock a hundred off. The last mot expired in December after its six months extension due to covid but hasn't been used through winter.

Bike is located at the end of the m62 near goole.

I'm looking for £2600.

Has the oil pump drive gear been looked at

Hi.

I read about this a couple of years ago, and dropped the oil pump during one of its filter changes. This is the 2006 engine, so i am told, when Buell started using an upgraded drive gear.
Never the less it was ok when it was checked. I don't see the need to keep checking every year, the failure rate for the new gear was very minimal. If was going to fail, I assume it would have failed by now.

Hi, I noticed the mirror extenders - are they home made or bought and if so where did you buy them? They might be an answer to me seeing too much of my elbows.

Mirror extenders were from ebay. Not very expensive and readily available.
