after chatting with pash it looks like we have the low seat fitted to my missis xb12x , and its still a bit tall for her

were looking at lowering the suspention , maybe she should have bought a xt but hey its done now plus its a very clean bike with only 825 miles on the clock

looking for some forks and rear shock from a xt , ss or a stt ?

any1 breaking a bike ect ?

cheers
Lee

STT has higher suspension than the SS models, dunno if it is as high as the X and XT though.

STT is a pretty high bike - I'm 5' 11" and can't put both feet flat on the floor (until the wife gets on the back)

It looks as if it is landing from a jump but all of the time.

:yt:

If you can document what was done it may be worth putting it in the how to section as lowering questions come up fairly often ...

the bloke had it done for him , its still got the original forks
something about shorter spacers in the forks and a revalve

again its the original rear shock with a shorter spring and a spacing block setup

i didnt get much of a look last nite , i managed to get a lift up in a truck from a company i work for , got to manchester a half 11 , only took 2 hours 45mins to get home with 2 fag stops , manchester to shepton mallet

i shall have a better look at whats been done over the weekend , but it rides well , no dipping on the front end under braking like a standard x , it feels a bit firmer as well

very happy with it , just need to see what the missis thinks
