Actually those parts numbers are incorrect, I was just on the phone with the dealer to order them.
I will upload the diagram + p/n as soon as I receive them

Are the part numbers different for 03-07 (US 03-10) and 08-10 models?

What are your part numbers for?

Those are p/n I found here: http://www.buellxb.com/Buell-XB-Forum/B ... side-scoop and they seemingly belong to the Uly comfort kit.

I was actually about to post a help request, as Warr's London suggested these

[12] M0902.02A8MBE – £149.21 + VAT (??!?!?!?)
[13] M0903.02A8A - £12.31 + VAT

but they seem to be for the LH scoop (see the diagram)

So now I'm confused.. what do I need to order to have a RH scoop identical to the LH one?

Went to Warrs..
p/n mo851.7aa + p/n mo852.7aa is what comes fitted on the bike from the factory, that is the LH scoop and the RH plastic cover (as seen in the diagram). Still no idea what the p/n for the RH scoop is

The 'Roberto' scoop used to be the one to have... Looked identical to the left hand scoop, balanced the bike up nicely. More than you can say for the Buell one.

PM him and see if he still makes them...

Trust me... you need...

M0851.7AA (outer right-hand air scoop)
and
M0852.7AA (inner right-hand air scoop)

Parts 7 and 8 on page 4 of this PDF:
http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/documents/Buell%20Uly%20Rider%20Comfort%20Kit%20-J04927.pdf

They are parts 7 and 8 of Rider Comfort Kit M1907.1AK NOT Kit M1907.1AU (that is for the police model of the Ulysses, the XP).

M0851.7AA and M0852.7AA... That's what I ordered... they're the numbers on my parts... they fit... Warrs were mistaken.

Current ride: XB12XT
Location: Kildare, Ireland.
Kit M1907.1AK is for NOn Cat XB12XT's 2008 and 2009 etc.

Kit M1907.3AK is for CAT XB12XT's 2008 and 2009 etc.

I believe I have the M1907.3AK kit fitted to mine which is way different to the other kit and the RHS scoop is a small squarish thing with no inner scoop part, just the out scoop part.

This is what I was told I needed as my bike (same as UK spec I believe in Ireland) was a CAT equipped bike.

I've two questions

- Is my 2008 model XB12XT a CAT equipped bike ?
- is the exhaust/header layout different than a on non-cat bike ???

If its the same layout then I cant see the big deal of using the nicer inner and out scoop (M0852.7AA) and (M0851.7AA).....or could I cause issues ??????

Maz or anyone able to advise ???

Eric.

Yours has a catalyst and the headers are different than the non catalyst bikes.
