Check out. Demon Tweeks website for a Goodrich inline banjo fitting hydraulic brake light switch, I think I got mine from there.

Leave the standard one in place and put this in place of the banjo bolt...

I just get one from Halfrauds, or wherever, stick it on a bit of plastic and rivet it to the plate, as below. OK, so it's not a UK plate, and it's not a Buell or an X1, but you get my drift. I've done the same on my Enfield in the UK for the same reason you're doing it. I forgot about it until the examiner pointed it out and suggested I nip out sharpish, buy one and just stick it on the bottom of the plate, mind you the plate at the time was about 2 ft x 1 ft lOl

Easiest way of dealing with the reflector is to purchase the cheap small round ones (for pennies) and fix to the numberplate , available as bolted or self adhesive

Thanks all, also on the look for at least one (dont know why i bother with them cant see anything.....) mirror to go on the drivers side , pair would be nice, better than stock but must be cheap, until I get back to pick the originals up in Tenerife. Any idea of thread pitch and size? Recommendations?
