I believe it is every 1125R owners responsibility to try and improve its looks ...though 500 euros including paint for a new one is not going to happen.

That chinny reckon looks far better than the 'fairing lowers' which appear to have been designed by Armitage Shanks...

One good thing about the original exhausts is that they "fit" the space beneath the bike, a lot of the aftermarket exhausts just don't hang right and don't follow the line of the bike leaving unsightly gaps.If only the original had been stainless lOl

500€ wouldn't pay for the otoplasty either!

Totally agree on the exhaust and the side fairings ...

I do think looks wise the original exhaust is an integral part of the design and once changed it needs something else there to fill the space.

I added the lower factory fairing but it still looks unfinished in my opinion because the factory lowers were designed to go with the original exhaust to fill the void.

Now I have lived with the bike and the looks of it I am appreciating the original design more and think the bulbous nose suits the bulbous pods and once you mess with these you mess with how the design flows.

I generaly change my bikes every year and then end up modding them as per whichever forums and get rid once they are finished. I think it says a lot about the 1125R that I have no plans to change it to my next bike, an MV Agusta F3 Reparto Corse anytime soon.

With the above in mind I wouldn't mind getting hold of the above chin spoiler if nobody else has any complaints?

Form/ function is always a compromise, some learn further one way or the other. As long as the form does not impact on the function, fill your boots I say.
