No, dont know that particular bike but I do know Buells and 1K would be the minimum spend.

5k is a good price. I paid more for my S1 than that and then spent nearly the same amount to get it where it is today. Buell's are not for a year or two. Never ever think that. I'm thinking of this bike and doing this https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=umbau ... s5UeweM%3A it's,a shame it's an X1 lightning strike in the right colours

The man speaks the truth. Since buying my overpriced entry level tuber last month....

K&N Filter = £65.98
New front and upgraded rear Isolaters = £210 ish
Upgraded front engine mount and bolts = £160
Primary tensioner checked and already done :D
Upgraded gearchange = £175
£10 oil mod = £10 ;)
NOS shock mount for 380mm shock = £50
New AST shock = more than £600
American gearing TBA

That's without addressing the front disc or starting to mess with carb, exhausts and silencers and assumes I do all the spannering myself.

Not really essential but I also got hold of a NOS manta tank as insurance against bubbling paint which was not cheap.

Being funded by me selling all my other worldly goods on Ebay to pay back a short term loan from Mrs Park's saving account. The problem is all my good stuff has now gone and I still owe.......... quite a bit............. :sad1:

It'll be worth it when Maz has had his hands on it. I wasn't convinced I'd like it and we spent way more on it than that - turns out I love it :yup:

Just managed to start the old girl to get her out for her mot. Feel a bit guilty as I haven't been out on her for a while. I'm just testing that all is ok for Magz of course...honest :sun:
