I am looking for a bunch of parts to repair my bike, this morning I was in the garage checking a few electrical problems over I came into the house to make a couple of phone calls, when I returned about an hour later I discovered the area around the clocks completely destroyed by fire.
I need a,
rev counter
clutch cable
both throttle cables
r/h switch gear
front brake hose
all front wiring sub looms
starter motor any condition

Any help greatly appreciated

Yours hopefully Gus

Sorry to hear, unfortunately don't have the needed bits, any idea where the fire started? What were the problems you were checking? Good luck

Not much left of the rev counter, looks very localised thankfully. Good luck with the search

I maybe have a rev counter ,but have to find it first.

Throttle cables is not really a problem ,get some inner and outer wires at a bicycle shop and a couple brass soldering barrels and your good to go!
About the fucked up wiring and connectors ,how much is burned?

As far as I can see the main loom is ok, its the sub looms to clocks, headlight and switch gear

Your 99 is probably a carb bike ,but here is a instruments set of a x1
http://www.marktplaats.nl/a/motoren/ond ... e=lr&pos=3
(he also has a complete x1 wire loom)

Here are the connectors available that the buells use,
http://www.cycleterminal.com/
So that could also be a option to make some new sub looms and connections.
