Hi

Just wondering if anyone has a good condition standard mirror for an X1?

It is for my S1, but I want the metal-backed X1 version. Not keen on aftermarket, tried bar-end but didn't get on with them.

Anyone got one languishing in the back of their shed they'd like to convert to a few quid?

Ta
Doug

Didn't know there was a metal backed version. Only ever seen the plastic Mickey mouse ears.

And bikes prior to the S1, including the S2 & S2T, like the RR/RS/RSS, had automotive-stylized mirrors that mounted to the fairing like a BMW K1 or any of the Jap open class bikes such as a GPZ.

Really? I got my lovely back early this morning (it has been with a very nice man), early enough just to open and close the garage, but having had the 'X1' mirrors fitted for the past 10++ years I'd be astonished if I am wrong - but let me check later, and either eat humble pie or gloat.

Pie. Humble. Eating.

Why did I ever doubt the opinion of The Master. Or The Maz-ster, more accurately.

After probably 15 years of having those mirrors fitted, I am astonished not to have realised their not metal, but hey, everyday is a school day.

I love my S1, as it is mine, the creation of Erik, but worked on by someone with a unique talent and passion. Maz - THANKYOU.

Doug
