Many of you met Paul 'Moz' Owen at D10 last year, and he carries a UKBEG sticker on his fairing as well as the names of several forum members. Well the lad dun good today, he got second place in the Lightweight (250) class lOl This was after he dropped a bit of solder down his barrel last week checking the squish  He phoned me and asked if it would do any harm, I said the best case scenario would be it getting spat out of the exhaust port, and I didn't want to talk about the worst :rotfl:

A great week with some of the best racing I have seen.
Spoke to the mum of young Joey Thompson who did extremely well for a newcomer in the Ian Lougher team. One to watch for the future.

He's a regular at Oliver's Mount. The TZ he rides, apart from being beautiful, is blisteringly quick. Nice fella too despite having the piss continually taken out of him by the old codgers in the pit - but he c an dish it out too 8-) Sorry we didn't meet up, but once established at Leathemstown, it was tricky to move 8-)
It was some of the best racing I'd ever seen, although the Dunlops seemed off pace - probably saving themselves for the Classic and Manx.

We stayed at deers leap for the duration, a great viewing point as they come over the crest.
I've got September's Oliver's Mount racing in my diary
