Excuses excuses again this year, sorry I can't be there.

I don't think I am going to be able to get off work either, we're trying to poach someone to come over while my colleague is away but its not looking good. (1st of January 2019 I will be getting to the leave book first thing, even before coffee)

Gus, when is your next drag day?

The following weekend the 11th then not until 22/23 September, see you there?

I have the 11th off Gus. I have an idle issue at the moment but if I can sort it out before then I will do my best to get over there!

Failing that (or including that) I will try to get the 22nd off and come over to that one. Maybe we should try and get a few Buelligans out!

Do you camp for the weekend?

(I posted here so as not to Hijack Adams D11 post)

For Saturday rwyb I travel down on Fri night and park outside the track (van with bike on trailer) then front of the queue for the gates opening at 8am,
it's usually a tenner for entry, then if you fancy a go another £25 to sign on gets you as many runs as you can fit in,
they run until 5pm usually after that I drive home, unless it's one of the Saturday night special weekends racing continues from 5.30 till 8 or 9 then stay over, I haven't done one of those yet but we hopefully will in September, where are you coming from?

Sounds like it could be a good weekend. Coming up from SW London, about 2 hours so it would be good to stay the night.

HEADS UP

Just spoke to Santa Pod.

Q Can I arrive Friday and camp over
A No

Q If I buy a RWYB ticket for Sat, can I camp overnight, leave Sunday morning.
A No, RWYB ticket ends at track closing time.

If you want to stay Saturday night, you need tickets that cover both Sat and Sunday, ie RWYB AND Minis in the Park (£18). Plus camping £7.

MITP is exclusively just Minis on track.

WELL THAT'S BUGGERED THINGS....

(Thought that those planning tbeir weekend should know)

I arrive on Friday late ie 1am most of the time, I either park outside the gate or the last time and the only time I may add was being guided to a field opposite and parked up there for the night, but you right Nik only minis on Sunday, anything goes on Saturday.
Billing Aquadrome isn't too far away for civilised camping on Friday night

Two words that do not belong in the same sentence.

ALSO, if it rains and there is NO racing your entry ticket can be used the next time you visit they don't refund.
The weather isn't looking particularly good come Saturday either
Thought I'd add that wee bit too ;)
Hopefully the gods will smile on us :sun: :worthy: :sun: :worthy:
