Thinking of getting one of those air bag thingies. Needs to be like the daiir i.e. no tether.

Saw this at our local motorcycle vendor:

https://www.ixon.com/public/en/ix-airbag-u03-2/

Anyone know anything about them or have an opinion?

I’m trying to find out if it deploys ok under a Kriega 35 day sack. Not had any response from the manufacturer- they are Jonny frenchies mind ;)

Is it like eating more pies, but without the enjoyment?

Try one of these Clive. They're a bit cheaper :hehe:

I know all the Moto GP riders use them. Might be worth looking on their site.
I never hit those speeds but if it's gonna help take the impact off my body if I ever come off. It can only be described as useful. Bit expensive though, so looks like the bits of plastic that make my Jacket feel like wearing a cornflake box will have to do for now.

All the best Paul.

I have a dair set of leathers for the track and they work well. I tested them in Almería during an unscheduled dismount :D

Turns out wearing a kreiga daysack will prevent an airbag deploying correctly. So all a bit academic now ;)
