Indeed, holiday home business is something we benefit from, but at the end of the day for us it is health over wealth.
We are fortunate to live on a farm so can self-isolate easily and not go stir crazy. Mrs Dusty has a list of work here that will keep me busy for several months :ill:

Steve , get that taxi pimped up for sept and i`ll be there to race on the beach at Pendine.

it will be a Le mans style start , and the first 3 to the other end will get a bog roll for a prize

Managed to dig over some of the veg plot and set fire to a bin full of combustable by-products. Smoked out the neighbourhood lOl till it fired up. Today the nextdoor dipshit was unblocking his drains which have been spilling into the lane for 5 months. Everyone else was strimming like a twostroke race. With another load of smoke from me :rotfl:
I smashed my strimmer into the path yrs ago with frustration .

Spent the day chain harrowing the fields on my
54 year old tractor. No cab blue skies red kites circling above (possibly because I was wearing shorts). Fitted a new dynamo earlier who remembers you have to polarise the bugger first?

Had to reverse polarity on my old Ford Zodiac to fit a modern cassette player. Sadly the car is no more, but I still have the original +ve earth Motorola radio. 8-)

By the by here’s a tip for self isolating;

Experience the thrills of summer motorcycling by sitting in front of a hair dryer and getting another family member to fire bees in your face with a spud gun! lOl

It's coming.

UK emergency laws give police more powers
Danny Shaw
BBC Home Affairs Correspondent
New emergency legislation in the UK says no one in the country is allowed to leave their home “without reasonable excuse”.
Several new activities which are permitted have been added to a list outlined by the Prime Minister on Monday.
They include moving house, fulfilling legal obligations, accessing critical public services and to escape injury, illness or the risk of harm.
There is no limit in the legislation on the number of times each day a person may leave their premises.
Police now have powers to “direct” and “remove” people to their homes and use “reasonable force” to do so, if they’re not complying with the new laws.
Fixed penalty fines can be imposed on people who flout the rules on being at home or gathering in groups of three or more by community support officers, local authority wardens, as well as police officers.
The legislation says prosecutions may be brought.
The measures - which last six months - must be reviewed every three weeks

That's near enough

Should have told him when he asked "Do you do that each year then?"
Only when I want to eat

I keep mentioning my dipshit neighbour who refused to pay a bricklayer friend all the money he owed for work done to his house. Bricklayer phoned today and the conversation got on to eating the neighbours and I said I`d try and eat him first , but after shaving his dyed hair and cutting off his prick you`d only end up with a huge arsehole ! :hehe: made I laugh..
