Glad you're ok, you could always look for a real Buell to replace it ;) :yup:

I'm not a Harley engined Buell fan I'm afraid.
The modern Rotax engined 1125r is the one for me & I now know what to do with them now to get them going correctly. So if all goes well I'll have another, stick with what you know is a motto of mine. May consider a CR but they feel a bit "tight" and very small for my liking. We'll see I guess, depends what is on the market. Hopefully I'll get mine back.

Glad you are OK man......Driving standards out there right now, as you have found are just dangerous.
I have driven a lorry a couple of days a week and never had so many near misses......It really is silly season, plus I really should get that eye test sorted soon. ;)

Please tell me you weren't on your way to the post office on my behalf when this happened, :o

Wish you well with your dealings with the insurers, total bind loosing the use of your bike at the start of the riding season.
Regards
Andrew

What a b*stard of a thing to happen.

Glad you are unhurt but pity about the bike; much better than happening the other way around though!.

Hope you get sorted OK.

A

Sorry to hear this. You seem a robust fella so hopefully will bounce back. Not what anyone would have wanted though. :sad1: :sad1:

Thinking positively. Did your painted and polished swing arm get by unscathed? Maybe you could fit that to another 1125, and your original engine if that proves to be the better! ;)

Hi Edd,
None of those bits were fitted yet, I was about to buy a CR belt from Maz today actually so I could do the CR gearing conversion.
I will get another 1125r or my original back again & do the same again, just stuck in the insurance procedure & that will take it's sweet time I'm sure.
It'll work out I'm sure. JB

Thanks for your concerns & good wishes folks. :worthy: :yup:
No doubt the insurance procedure wheels will churn while I run round my hamster wheel for a bit.
I do hope I get the 1125r back though even if it just becomes a donor for my next one. I found myself very attached to it for some reason, probably because it was such a bitch to get sorted. :(
Lots of experience gained from working on the 1125r and life goes on. :old:
Bring it on.
Hope everyone's healthy & staying safe. JB

Check you are not being charged storage fees while the claim goes through, they are exorbitant and not justifiable.
