Typical for old Blighty, the technology and means to deal with this threat has been around for years, but we don’t invest or bring in the professionals until we look like utter spods from abroad.

Then again, there is always some snag with folk trying to jet off Christmas week, strikes by baggage handlers, air traffic controllers, or snack bar staff. Gives the Beeb something to drone on about interviewing Mssrs Pissed off from Churnley near Witchington for at least five days. lOl Stay at home suckers! ;)

If I'm correct this is a unforeseen event out of the control of the airlines and therefore the airlines don’t have to pay out any compensation, What it needs is as and when the drone pilot/ pilots are found then the 100,000 plus people that have been affected should sue the person or persons for compensation, once the court order / ruling has been made, the debt can be sold on to some of our eastern bloc friends who have more persuasive ways of ensuring payment , this should hopefully stop any copycat reoccurrences of these events

It looks like the couple arrested, house searched and their names splashed all over the press and social media, didn’t do it. Who’d have seen that coming?

That’s their lives fucked then. How’s many will say ‘no smoke without fire’ etc. Assuming they’re innocent, it’s a disgrace what’s been done to them. And I’m no leftie pinko faggot...

" Suspect in Gatwick shutdown is a Crawley window-fitter " Which says to me , that people who put glass in houses shouldn't fly drones.
