Just had contact with the Consultant, very serious were her words. Bollox. More meds & more Blood tests on Friday.
Not in a space to go see my Father in Law.
Wish I'd gone to Santa Pod last time Grrr. That'll teach me, never put off etc. etc.

Thanks folks,
Meds up by six times what they were seems to have made a difference in just a day & a half, whatever caused the inflamation is being tackled, swelling is going down.
Thanks Nutah, I did start thinking after the initial shock & Drama that I have had six more years whatever. That's a winner whatever occurs.

Thanks Folks,
Probably over dramatised after my initial shock, you know "Very Serious" & a quoted number of some test that was at the top of the scale for not good.
Didn't really hear anything else & had to ring back to get the consultant to re-tell me the new meds regime, which I've got to say seems to be working.
More tests tomorrow & results next Tuesday. They told me if this is gonna work it will show up on these new tests & with the swelling going down I'm more upbeat.
Funnily one of my fantasied regrets was not getting to Santa Pod? So that's a must do.
Thanks again

Had the blood tests done at Leeds this Am, worryingly the said they will have the results later today & will ring if I need to go into hospital. They're thinking Rejection, after six untroubled years hence the massive increase in my anti-rejection drugs. I should know for sure later today if they keep to their schedule. I'll keep you posted.

Thanks Nutah.
The swelling seems to have gone down so I'm hoping things are getting better. Consultants tend to look at the worst thing possible from my experience.
Best wishes to your friend, waiting is terrible as your condition tends to worsen all the time.

Thanks Finmows,
Just keep thinking I've had six years extra already & that Consultants always look on the worst side of things. Probably won't call today as promised as I'm just another patient to them, not sure they think about what they say sometimes. Hope they don't leave it over the weekend though, that will be shit.
Thanks again.
