It was built to do the Pendine sands speed jobby, which was to be in two weeks time.
Covid cancelled.
Cost about £2300 for all the parts and a few calls to :maz:
Needs registering as the X1 frame came from the states 15 ish yrs ago.
I`ll stick a plate from another bike on it for a while , but only when this virus shite eases .

Back on the subject of mice. I cornered the field mouse in my partners recycling box last night as he rummaged around for scraps. I removed enough items to see him squatting in the corner. When he couldn’t hide any more he climbed up onto the opposite corner of the box and ee sat for a moment looking at each other. We had a brief chat before he jumped down and legged it for his nearest hide hole! lOl

I have them in my house again as well as my partners. Yes l do alternate between properties as needs must, but l do not interact with anyone else and I only travel in my capacity as a carer! ;)

Anyway, l caught a few small mice in my kitchen. A small critter yesterday was in a ‘Big Cheese’ mini trap, but had chewed away at one of the breather holes in the trap door before l got home and released him into the wilds, closely followed by my old cat who is eager, but a bit too slow to catch them. lOl

Today there was another little mouse in the trap, but this one continued to chew at the hole started by his mate and chewed his way out completely before l got there! There was the empty trap surrounded by a circle of finely gnawed plastic particles. ;)

Yes the mice round my way are much like the local chavs; hard to fool and even harder to trap! lOl

Catching mice indoors - if they're running around the room, grab your wellies.

Place one welly flat along the skirting board on either side, open end towards the target.

Wait until the mouse runs along the skirting, usually straight into the "oooh, that looks like a safe place" welly.

Stand the welly upright, fold over the top to keep the critter inside and walk to your chosen release point. Ours is across the lane and over the wall into the field (3 foot wall so no parachute required).

Must have recycled the same mouse 100's of times over the years!

HTH and stay safe

A
