The first house I bought , ex police, had no garage so i knocked the lounge diner through and used to make staircases there lOl . My present house had the dinning room stacked with building gear for 4 years till I extended my other garage.
I collect garages and rent some out , no council tax , rates etc.

We made the decision to temporarily close our shop this morning I suspect we have just pre-empted the announcement packages that the Prime Minister will make @ 8.30 this evening. Having seen the selfishness displayed by people over the weekend, here in Pembrokeshire it is only going to ramp up over the next few weeks with visitors who we would normally welcome with open arms. Indeed, holiday home business is something we benefit from, but at the end of the day for us it is health over wealth.
We are fortunate to live on a farm so can self-isolate easily and not go stir crazy. Mrs Dusty has a list of work here that will keep me busy for several months :ill:

I drove to my partners house tonight in the dark feeling more relaxed than usual, and for the first time in a few years played a tape in the car made from Hawkwinds original ‘Space Ritual’ LP side 4. ‘Orgone Accumalator’, ‘Upside Down’, and ‘The 10 Seconds of Forever’. Arriving just after the first and last second; Brilliant 8-)
