Give it a couple of weeks and I think the government will START to ease up on lockdown , social distancing will still be with use for some time, in some form or another , until there is a vaccine to protect the old and sick .
I think it will be a very long time, before the likes of pubs, clubs , theme parks for the kids, will be open again, same could be said for air travel and holidays abroad.
The £1800 cash deposit sounds to be a tax fiddle .
might be time to get that large garage / small workshop built at home and just do a few bikes a month
at least you wont have the £500 rent to payout

Barney, it is a tax fiddle and it's my way of avoiding some of the VAT he charges on rent, I'm not VAT registered.....what he does with it is up to him !
It was always the plan to build a large workshop on the spare land I have at home but my ex wife took all the money we had set aside when she divorced me......and my neighbours would soon bubble me to the council if they got a whiff of me running that sort of business from home.
Colin, I won't be selling parts any time soon as it's hard enough to get stock for the shop, especially at the moment with all the dealers shut.
Edd, whilst you might be prepared to pay for advice, I can assure you most would not be !

:maz: Neighbours can not stop you working from home.
As long as there`s no advertising the council will not be interested as I found out when neighbours who hate me tried to complain.
Check planning as you may not need any.
Sell your body to help pay for it.
Good luck.

Suffering a bad back so stood at the lathe for a play.
Just got enough material for the other side.
Professional machinists look away .

Believe me, if you have a bad back, standing by a lathe all day isn't the way forward......
