Not really a plan, more of a done thing in these times of wondering what to do with time.
Hope everyone is well. JB

Thought you modern engineers just pushed a button on the lathe now after getting a young oik to program it,.

My recently purchased CR Swingarm prepped ready for it's first of many coats of filler primer.

Painting it this colour when I've got it ready.

Hope everyone's well. JB

I am formulating new plans that will involve burning stuff, not just myself this time.
I have had enough now and need to get the fuck away from this shitty little island with its grassing, green eyed wankers for humans.

Don’t see many shitty humans around me fortunately. ;)

Spent the day cleaning and shining my spare XB headers. I love that brushed metal patina you see on old biplanes and cars like they have been cleaned with nothing but emery cloth and castor oil for 90 years. :old: Any tips to get there quickly would be appreciated! :)

If l can get that effect all over the metal l’ll be happy! 8-)

Wire brush on a drill does it. JB

Also turned these paddock stand bobbins in between preparing the swingarm for painting.

Them’s pretty! 8-)

Thanks for the wire brush tip Paul. I’m already there and finishing the pipes manually with fine grit paper. Just been reading about an aeroplane restorer who does actually use emery cloth and oil! :)

Edd, regarding shaping the inners of your pipes, you could use exhaust paste as a temp measure just to get an idea of what difference any adjustments would make, it would certainly fill any lips & welds as it dries extremely hard & is piss easy to shape whilst wet. Just an idea. JB.

Agreed. I do still have an unopened tube of ‘Quicksteel’, which is what l used in my Stealth years ago. It stayed in for several rides at least. ;)
