A rare chance to see Little Fauss and Big Halsey, the best motorcycle racing movie ever made tomorrow night (Friday) 10pm
Talking Pictures TV @TalkingPicsTV
Soundtrack by Johnny Cash and Carl Perkins.
Virgin 445
Freesat 306
Freeview or Youview 81

Not my opinion as never seen it but worth a view

I guess most of us have also been catching up on classic movies during the Lockdown?

I noted how many good films (or those l particularly enjoyed) were released in 1979!

Not in any particular order;

Apocalypse Now
The Warriors
The China Syndrome
Mad Max
Alien
Life of Brian
Caligula
Escape from Alcatraz
Quadrophenia
Being There
The Wanderers
Time After Time (Malcolm McDowell as HG)
The Lady Vanishes (Cybil Shepherd version)
Boulevard Nights
The Riddle of the Sands
Manhattan
Scum
Kramer vs Kramer

.........and there are a few more. ;)

Been busting my ass so now downtime for me but I have seen Warriors recently. Only other movie I watched the past 2 months was Casino Royale spoof...1967 I think.

Got Netflix but they don't keep as many older movies and shows as I'd like because I do want to revisit many old series. But I also don't feel like having subscriptions to every "me too" content provider.

“Who are the Warriors?”

I think the Wong’s were in ‘The Wonderers’, as were the ‘pricks with ears’ , but they may have been stood around with funny hats in that other film! lOl
