This looks like game for a laugh; ;)

Some good vids on this scene. Apparently water cooled baggers like the Indian 107 have to keep stock capacity, but air cooled twins can 'go big'! 8-)

How the world has changed lOl And who is the Essex manufacturer? Bikes have "Challenger" on the side panels but I'm guessing that's a model name rather than a manufacturer.

That'll be Greeves with their 'challenger' model I expect (couldn't get the clip to load) You can still buy a brand new Greeves 'Anglian' trials bike, made from all new period repro parts.

Just got it to load now! Yep, they're Greeves, using what looks like a Villiers 37A bottom end with their own head and barrel. It was common for manufacturers to make their own top ends for the 9e/32a series onwards. Villiers realised they were missing a trick here and developed their later Starmaker motor.

Thanks for that, Adam. I thought it would be of particular interest to you especially the Salop Motorcycle Club. Now, can you name and give us the vital statistics of the Playboy girls adorning the workshop wall? lOl
