On top of pigeongate lOl , I've had a wasp nest under the eaves next to the bedroom window,
I didn't fancy going on the roof and risk getting stung so rigged up a powder delivery gun from a length of copper pipe connected to some plastic tubing and fired via a blowgun. I waited till it was getting dark they quieten down then
and was able to lean out and get the copper tube into the hole where the perps were and let them have it
Next day no wasps  not sure if it was the powder or the 60psi delivery system lOl

:yt: used the powder stuff in the past and as said night time when wasps are all home or early in the mornings before they leave for work, ensure the entance /exit is covered with the powder so as they go back and forth they carry the poison back in to the nest . :yup:

Never seen powder for wasps where I am. We like the long distance sprays that melts what ever it hits. Hairspray and a lighter is fun too.

Once heard a story about a guy in Germany painting his house and using a gas torch to remove the old paint, while he was up on a ladder he came under attack from some angry wasps so waved the flame at them to fend them off, however as they retreated he must have singed a few of them and when they got back to the nest promptly set it on fire taking the roof and most of the house with it.
Tragic :hehe:

Lots of stories like that around. Happens in Texas all the time with HVAC repair people needing to clear the buggers out running new line inside the wall, torching them and setting the interior walls on fire. Amazing how many people think that Owens-Corning pink fiberglass won't catch fire. Asphalt shingles as well.
