I'd recommend reading the book on their history, it's a really good read covering their history from Greg and Duane as kids to present day.

I get confused between the Seekers and the Searchers, who we saw live at Birmingham Hippodrome in 1982 l think. Brilliant musicians. ;)

Of course Paul you will remember essential Thursday evening TOTP followed by The Man From Uncle back when. 8-)

Hi Edd,
Here's a tale for you.
Two of my friends & myself went to see one of the man from UNCLE films at the pictures, invisible ink secret codes & all that stuff. When we came out there was a jewelers just across the road from the pictures & we noticed the clock light above the door was flashing.
We immediately converted the flashing clock to SOS in Morse code & phoned the Police from the phone booth in the picture house entrance. The Police were great & after establishing where we were what we'd been doing (watching the Man from UNCLE film) assured us we were probably correct & told us to wait there & there would be a car down in a minute to check it out.
We waited F****n' ages. Bet they were laughing their bollocks off.
The 1960's are dreamlike for me, the 70's I mostly don't remember apart from The Beatles, Hawkwind & Pink Floyd being played in every psychedelic smokey den I went. Wouldn't change a minute of it even if I had a time machine, it was a blast.
All the best Edd. JB.

Cool. lOl

I went to see a ‘M’UNCLE’ double bill in the 60s. In the first film Solo and the girl are chained up in the basement and Solo kicks the joint off a steam pipe (no fixings) to make their escape from the baddies.
In the second, Solo has a double and has to escape Thrush agents on a Triumph motorcycle! Gripping stuff at age 8! ;)

TOTP at that time regularly featured people like Dave, Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick and Titch, Sonny & Cher, Dusty Springfield, Gene Pitney, Lulu, The Beegees etc, etc. 8-)

Today... The Stranglers
Tomorrow... who knows!
