Avoid the wind; keep off the real ale.

Many thanks to all who made the effort tonight. It was a truly international event with some of our chums from north of Watford turning up. :yup:
Pete (XB4rt) and Maureen from Manchester and Dave (Burning Chrome) from Yorkshire looked set to do battle for the long distance award, but due to technicalities, it still went to Steve (Ursus) who rode down on his lovely S2. 8-)
Great to see Don (Nutah) out and about again on his X1 as well as Cyclone Dude, Deepsix, Blackrag and B.
Probably the last meet that us shandy drinkers will sit outside in short sleeves this year, but you never know..... ;)

Well the Buells just outnumbered the other bikes, despite the potential for a Triumph take over. Good to see Don out and about again on the X1, and Steve with his retro semaphore indicator system on the S2.

The Northern types almost outnumbered the Southern Softies this time  it was great to see you all down here. Safe travels back :worthy:

As Mick says, possibly the last 'sitty outside in t-shirts' evening.
:yup: :yup:

It was good to finally get to the Softies meeting and inject a bit of Northern grit. Got bloody wet on the way back to Larndon though

Sounds like I missed a classic meet up yet again. So sorry I wasn't able to be there as planned but unfortunately I had to look after my mother, and family comes first. Today I managed to get her into a care home before something bad happened to her. Although it was a tough decision to make, I believe it will safeguard her from wandering off and keep her safe. . I will now be able to sleep better at night knowing she is safe. X

Nice to be there to show some northern support, bit disappointed with the long distance award
A pic of the late night repair to Steves indicators, good luck getting the tape off :D
