Made three of those model specific meets on appropriate machinery but, not having an XB9/12S it looks like I'll be riding the 2010 1125CR for the first time in two years lOl

We've been blown away by today's attendance, there must have been 30+ bikes in total. Thanks to everyone who made it :worthy:...

There were 14 Buells, which included 7 XB9/12 Lightning models, plus 1 EBR 1190SX.

Dave's customised Lightning looked absolutely stunning, quite simply the best example we've ever seen, it just looks so right :P....

Cheers Chris :oooops: People will think there's a fat brown envelope changing hands whenever I wheel my latest project out come spring time. :hehe: . That's it now though, I've run out of bikes to personalise. A big thanks to you and Jane for your organisational skills that allows us all to do this. It was a great Sunday with a nice relaxing ride down the scenic ashbourne Rd (A515) to Lichfield with Pete (xbart) to spend a couple of hours talking buells and bike stuff in general with friends and acquaintances. A few of the usual suspects missing though. If the weather plays ball I can do it all again next weekend to Dave and Julie's do at jacks hill cafe :yup:

I guess I was XBS no 7 or even 8 (not visible in Chris's pics) as a mystery misfire almost stopped me from reaching the meet until late. Sussed it eventually, and thank you to Chris and Jane for my welcome. ;) The modest number of Lightnings was made up for by an interesting mix of Buells and even an 'E-Buell-R' 1190. 8-) Good to see Steve back on his bike and making a steady recovery. Nice fresh weather also made perfect biking. :yup:
