oooooooooooooooooohhh, that's why I kept seeing a bunch of Buells -= always seem to be going in the opposite direction :headbang:
I did get some very enthusiastic waves though :D
Still it was a fantastic weekend!
Sorry about the picture size but a reduced version doesn't do it justice!

So, it was you!! - I think I saw your orange Ulysses coming towards me on at least 5 different occasions. I was riding the blue Ulysses, usually at the front of our group.

A couple of times we went back only to find you had moved on - saw you all parked up on 3 occasions.
I did 1200 miles over 4 days and the bike was awesome (except the speedo stopped working).

Hi all. I'm still at the site as I can't be bothered moving lol. Still sunny as well :). I should be heading off to the peak district in a couple of days. I'm hoping the weather holds up for next weekend to meet more people. See some of you again then hopefully. Cheers from the 'Camping Bueller'

Mark your diaries now - Friday 11th to Sunday 13th June, 2010.

We enjoyed our stay at the Brotherswater Inn so much that Jane has already booked the same room for next years event .....

We stayed at the Low Wray Yurt site near Ambleside - excellent site and perfect location.

So many potential customers in one place and I missed it :headbang:

Hi all.
Gutted bout missing the weekend, but shifts are a bummer!!
Bin an origional member of the group since 2000, and also a climber/mountaineer. I've stopped at the Brotherswater campsite many times and can't fault the facilities. Another site i would recommend is the Side Farm campsite, across the Lake from Glenridding, (Patterdale) the Ullswater Steamer jetty. However, as a firefighter of many years, i would like to highlight the facilities of the "Firefighters Charity" facilities at Eamont Bridge. 5mins from Penrith and on the old A6 which is a wonderful road to travel to the Lakes on a bike, from the South (M6 J40). It's an ideal location to acess The Northern Lakes from the Keswick area. The Firefighters Charity runs a therapy centre in Penrith that supports Firefighters and their families, following times of injury and convalescence, sustained from the job. As the centre is funded by charity, they have opened it as a B&B over Fri/Sat night to raise funds to keep the facilities funded. 2 local pubs at the end of the drive! Not knocking any of the campsites in such a beautiful area of our wonderful country, but if you'd like to support a worthwhile charity in a fab area (and support UKBEG at next years Lakes gathering!) please give me an emither, and i'll try to help you out as much as i can. Buellboy.
