Today is now officially a good day. Image

Started as bleak as every other, but I just called at home & picked up my mail.

Nice brown envelope postmarked Douglas waiting on the mat ...... I now have my Manx Grand Prix Programme

It makes the long wait for a holiday more bearable, just over three weeks to go (no, I've not counted the sleeps) and Diggertours is GO....

If you want your advance copy, clicky here :D

Sheepy may correct me, as he's just been in touch with everyone, but this is a rough guide to Digger's Dozen:

Mr & Mrs Digger Image
Mr & Mrs Robin Image
Sheepy Image
Conquistador Image
S1nner & pal ImageImage
Spook Image
Richie & son ImageImage
OF Image

In addition, we'll be joined by DMcD, Three Legs Dave, Baggy, our new pal Jennie the Marshal Image & her Swedish chum Annika :D and another Manx couple whose names escape me…… just be aware that the roads close frighteningly early, Doug, so we’ll be leaving Port Erin at daft o’clock on race days Image

See you Sat night in the Falcon's Nest if you arrive in time.... otherwise Sun morning for a warm-up lap 8-)

Ferry docks at 6:30 pm from memory. So we'll be in Port St Mary within the hour and no doubt across shortly after that. I checked on Google Maps and the two Promenades are less than 2 miles apart. This is, of course, the plan - truth is I may not be able to walk after 250 miles with an S1 stuck up my derriere, but we can deal with that at the time, I am sure I can find a pub nearer than 2 miles away if I need to - where there is a will there is a way!.

Looks like there will be 12 of us visiting the isle, the Dirty Dozen indeed :bandit: :yup:

If you had, you wouldn't have been the first, and certainly not the last!

Using a Uk mobile on the Island is expensive, I think you can buy sim cards locally if you intend making or receiving a lot of calls.

On the other hand, its a good excuse for not calling home. ;)

Most certainly won't be calling home as we'll both be out :?

but I might just invest in one to keep in touch with the rest of the dirty dozen, particularly you & 3-Legs.

So, get 'em here, folks.

Thanks, Derek 8-)
