Guilty as charged mi lord. Went down to Llan, saw road closed sign so turned back up the A5 and turned down in Glyndyfrdwy and over the mountain to Ponderosa, by now it was about 11 45 hung about for a while saw know one I knew so took of for Bala. Stopped in Bala bought sarnies and headed for Dolgellau and the low fly area .Saw yellow Uly Aprilia and others but I think perhaps you were walking down over to my right as I was going up.Anyway piss poor for planes the only thing of interest was a DH Venom and that was high up .Last week over my tractor shed I had VF22 Osprey's one A400 Atlas a couple of F15's and a few of the Tucano types Sods law .Anyway a nice run out Barney catch you next time.

:yt: sod's law must of only just missed you at ponda , had a bacon and egg bap , hung around for a while , but strong cold wind on top of hill so set of for Bala , refuel and on to cad west , parked up followed the path to the right , came out directly opposite the car park on A487 .
did see the DH Venom , and heard a few others , the sound of the venom and the likes up high ,make me wonder that when one does a low level through the valley the sound must be amazing , the late afternoon low winters sun may well of put the brakes on any other low level stuff for that day .
now I know where it is , I shall return probably early morning :yup:

ERM! OK! Before I get locked into the borders of West Yorks or the greater metropolitan area of Leeds, I'm off out for a ride as hoped this Sat. I will be paying a visit to Willingham Woods for lunch and if I happen to see familiar faces, I will say hello, but no, there's no formal 'Northern Monkey' meet-up.
