We continue our series of popular UKBEG ride-outs by proudly presenting:

On Sunday 21st June:

The UKBEG Peak District Mystery Tour - featuring brilliant roads and tasty food :P...

Note: this run comes with a weather permitting clause.

Meet at Harleyworld Chesterfield between 10.30 and 11.00 am.

We had a ride down to Chesterfield this morning to set this up and tea/coffee will be available when you arrive.

Location details: http://www.harleyworldchesterfield.co.uk/home.asp

From Harleyworld we will follow a route that takes in the best of the Peak District and stop en-route for lunch. We will return to Harleyworld for tea/coffee and sticky buns, before they close at 4.00 pm.

A map of the Peak District can be found here: http://www.peakdistrict.org/index/maps/pdmap.htm

Further details for the UKBEG Peak District Mystery Tour:

Patrick Yates, the Dealer Principal at Harleyworld, has offered to buy us all lunch at a pub in the Peak District. This is in addition to providing hospitality at his dealership.

Patrick will accompany us on the tour and make all the arrangements for our lunch stop :worthy:...

We need some idea of the numbers for the pub lunch. Would you please let us know if you plan to attend this event.

FYI Patrick was one of the original members of UKBEG in 1998.

Paddy Yates - original member... and the man who sold me my S1 when he was at Big Rock! I went up there, he wouldn't let me out on it, but gave me an M2 to take out - with the words "It very like the S1, just the S1 is not as comfortable or as easy to ride". Not straight from the salesman's handbook that one. I think he knew I would get half a mile and either hate it come straight back and buy the S1. He was right.

Top bloke.

I'll be trying very hard to make this one - got a shedload of stuff happening in June, but should be free that day.

Paddy hosted the first UKBEG day I joined - at Big Rock exactly 9 years ago.
Here he is, wondering what he's let himself in for ....

Good turnout that day, too 8-)

I haven't seen Brian (S3T) since last years Em's Day - I think he had to sell his XB9SX recently.

Maz - get your name down for this little jaunt, we want to see that S1WL in action again.
