Wishing you all better weather than I am having this spring. Rain, and nothing but. Took the bike out this morning and got soaked on the way back home. So sunny riding to you all, from rain-soaked Maryland. Wish I could come!

It has been wet here this morning, tomorrow is looking ok.
The wind should be less and feel warm, sun and cloud.

Hope it picks up for you too :D

Nate.

Another fantastic day out in the best company. A huge thank you to CJ and Patrick :worthy: :worthy: for organizing such a successful meet and ride out. It was lovely to see everyone and put some more faces to names. Softley, Nate, Jane and Umbongo it was great to finally meet you all. And we had a lovely amble back in the company of Richie. This year just gets better and better. Jane and I had a great day yesterday with the visit to Papworth Hospital in Cambridge and today's UKBEG meet and ride in the Peak District was just the icing on the cake.....

It was another superb day spent in the company of good friends. There's no better way to spend a (mostly) sunny Sunday than riding around the Peak District with fellow Buell enthusiasts.

We must say a huge thank you to Patrick Yates of Harleyworld who led the ride-out and bought us all a proper Sunday lunch at Carsington Water. It was great to be able to take a back seat and just follow the route without having to worry about where we were going. Patrick had it all sorted for us. We don't the know the Peak District area very well so this was a real bonus - and very impressive it is too, with beautiful scenery and a good selection of roads.

The meet at Harleyworld. There were 20 bikes in our group, 14 of which were Buells:

The back of Claire's custom made shirt - I was going to take a picture of the rather pleasing frontal aspect but thought better of it :oooops:....

:D :D Top day out !!

Many thanks to Patrick - what a TOP MAN .........  who as well as leading a good ride out ( Nate is right - great soundtrack with the sound bouncing off the scenery) and fronting the lunch ......led me and a few others back through Matlock (first time) and then into Chesterfield.

Good to meet with one and all ............had the bonus of passing thousands of stranded motorists   in the chaos on the MI after the GP at Silverstone -

Big thanks to Jane and CJ ...........for organising plus the weather !! ............proves positive thinking really works.

BTW the M2 just keeps on impressing me ..............more and more - 50mpg - 300 miles + what a good all rounder - twisties - A roads or motorways - just copes no fuss - nothing complicated - just does it all very well - take a bow :yup: Erik.

:D :D
