Wasn't it just! Perfect weather.
Wifey's got sunburn and my nose looks like I've been on the Cider........
Nice to see everybody.

Bumped into TN and TB down at Poole - a pleasure to see you both, gentlemen.

We got passed by a XB12 (?) on the A350, between Shaftesbury and Warminster, on the way back. Dunno who the fellow was, but I think he should sort out his silencer, the bike sounded like a trouser cough in a damp bag of Wotsits.

Wasn't it lovely? :sun:

I went to Southampton Hospital then went on the run towards Poole behind Hellboy and his Mrs (bike sounds fit without the baffles by the way :yup: ) but had to peel off early because I had to be somewhere else and my right thigh was on fire. Bloody XBs don't like pottering! Who chose the route through the New Forest on the hottest, busiest bank holiday ever?!

A couple of others missing from Norm's list: Mr and Mrs T and Mirman and Mrs. Also got to catch up with Sweep and Roy. Good to see everyone but not the turnout that I would have hoped for. Not quite the event that I anticipated either and probably the biggest memorial to our Yoffi is the fact that he wasn't there to lead the merriment :(

From what I've heard, in previous years the Hoggies would set off in a slow, staggered formation, Yoffi and a couple of others would get bored then create plenty of mayhem and noise treating the H-Ds as mobile chicanes. This year a few set off with the main convoy and endured their parade for varying lengths of time while the rest of us chilled out in the sun at DG20 then went our separate ways.

I pulled my normal trick of breaking off to visit friends and family but had a great ride through the New Forest dodging the Bank Holiday traffic and visiting Poole Quay. Met up again with Crazy Col and Teresa, bumped into Toyboy and met a lady with a lovely Blast that she is looking to upgrade ;)

Then had a warp factor ride home demonstrating remarkably poor lane discipline. Surely that's the benefit of riding a bike when the roads are heaving with Bank Holiday traffic

300+ miles on the old S1W and loved every minute of it 8-)

Steve

Yeah

Good to see you all at DG20.

Couldn't stand the thought of trawling slowly accross the New Forest and the lure of the A272 proved too strong :D

Lovely ride up to Box Hill with Mr and Mrs Goldy and flew across the New Forest on the way home :yup:

Good to see people ;) Left DG and went to see how Susie was recovering from her brother's wedding do on Saturday night :) Took the scenic route home via the A32. The one time I drive as opposed to ride the route, not one single speed camera, police car or MIB hiding anywhere  Probably a good thing too as didn't seem to take that long to get back home :D
