I think that was the best evening ride to Squires for a UKBEG meet - absolutely no threat of rain, just for a change!

The place was packed, far more than usual for a Thursday night. An interesting mix of machinery, including quite a number of bikes that were around when I started riding in the mid-seventies :P...

There were six Buells there tonight - thanks to everyone for turning up.

Twas good to meet up again, and I completely agree with Chris in that it was the best ride to and from Squires. As I left I rode directly towards the most brilliant bright red sunset, which seemed quite appropriate!
There was a seventh Buell there that you didn't count CJ. If you look in your bottom picture, about 6 or 7 bikes down is a yellow Firebolt, although we didn't get to meet the owner.

Haven't been to Squires for ages - how long have Santa's Slaves been sponsoring the roof tiles?

It's the SS's Rock & Custom show this weekend and they were setting up the music stage etc. It took me half an hour to notice that rather discreet banner on the roof.

And, as I missed the seventh Buell, perhaps a trip to the opticians wouldn't go amiss :D...

I think so .....hoping to come but have fucked my back again :( and currently off work because of it (havn't been off sick for about 15 years) taking some time off to try and prevent it getting as bad as it did last time. Luckily riding the bike tends to put it in a comfy position so may still try a steady ride over if it's a nice evening.
Neighbours taken pity on me and is calling round this afternoon to cheer me up :) the fact that the suns shining and she likes getting her legs tanned which I'd swear are about 6ft long will definitly take my mind off the back for a little while :D
So hopefully see you all there.

I am fussy you know. I need three yes's...

1) Does it have a pulse
2) Is it female
3) Has it always been female (added after an incident a few years ago)
