Everything is set for Saturday's cheque presentation at 2.00 pm, at Papworth Hospital - including, fingers crossed, the weather in the Cambridge/Newmarket area.

Papworth's two Cystic Fibrosis consultants are coming in on their day off to meet us and our parking arrangements have been confirmed.

Just a reminder - we're meeting up at Black Bear in Newmarket between 12.00 and 1.00 pm and we will set off to Papworth Hospital no later than 1.15 pm

Black Bear will provide free coffee/tea and doughnuts :P...

Just checking Chris - you still planning on being at Papworth by 2?

Shame we have to go in the car, the Trip could do with the mileage but I have no idea how I'd get my son and 3 weeks worth of luggage on the bike.

I know, I know, two pairs of pants, inside, outside, front on, back on etc but he's off to stay with his girlfriend, I can't very well make him do that can I?

Hi Roz

Our ride-in from Black Bear should arrive at Papworth around 1.45 - 1.50 pm.

The plan is to meet Helen Daniel, Papworth's fundraising manager, at 2.00 pm and then for us to be taken to meet their CF consultants.

Helen sent me these directions - you should be able to find us if you're going directly to Papworth Hospital:

There's no parking fee, and there should be plenty of space in the first car park on the right, just after you go through the main entrance.
