Yep, got a date. 26th March but I don’t think it’ll be real - when it appears it’ll be real :yup:

It’ll be worth it in the end - it’s gonna be mega :D

In my head you’re only a hipster if you have a ‘bun’ and wear skinny jeans with big turn ups. I’m going with that :)

I’m happy to wait for it - I don’t have the skills to build one myself so there’s not much choice. In reality it was never going to be delivered quickly, I knew that going in. Sadly some folk are getting really grumpy, understandably. It’s a fair wedge of cash for a 600cc single.

When it eventually arrives I’ll have a very special bike. Not everyone’s cup of tea but I like it :D and I’m buying it for me. Other people’s opinions are none of my business.

To think, youould have had a 500cc Buell for much less than that, and would have been the right height for you too... :4roz:

It’s funny you should mention it. I’ve always fancied one but being vertically challenged they never look right on me.

I’ll have to stick with by belstaff and tweed suit :D

Guy at work picked his Spitfire up on Friday from the factory at Bolton and brought it into work today. A nice looking beastie with lots of detail touches and some nice machined bits.. He did get an alloy tank which is knocking a bit on the frame behind the headstock. Some '3M Heli Tape' should fix that.

It has some lovely little details and some interesting 'features' like the self retracting side stand and adjusting the gear lever position requires removal of the chain to adjust it!

A few that have them say the gear lever is a bit awkward. I’ll no doubt see when I get mine.

I’m not really bothered about plastic or alloy tank, I was but now not so much.

I’m hoping to have a chat with CCM at the Scottish bike show :yup:
