I have a 1998 S1 Lightning, in flame orange and molten lava, in my garage. This has not been used for some 7 years or more. It has under 7k on the clock. It was put in the garage when it stopped charging.
It will now require a little work to put back on road. Fork seals, speedo drive and other bits and pieces.
Can members give me any suggestions re suitable mechanics to use, or alternatively, a rough value should I wish to sell.

Cheers, Al.

:yt: :maz: is your man .for repairs or advise ,
yes it's a bit of a journey from your place , but even the cost of van hire to deliver the bike is quickly recouped by the relatively low hourly rate and the expert detailed knowledge of Buell motorcycles and his fastidious work ethic :worthy: :yup:

Maz is a straight talking guy, if your bike is beyond repair (normally financial or of late, lack of spares) he will tell you. after a 7 year lay up it might need a lot more work than you can see on the outside

...and will undoubtedly cost more than it's worth if your main aim is to sell it.
