Thought I'd post this picture of my S1 with an adaptor for a 7 inch headlight as I found out that even though the Bosch "186mm" headlight was used by Buell, BMW, as well as Ducati, it now seems to be unavailable and the quote for re silvering I had was £85....plus VAT. The adapter I used is sold by a member of the Ducati Monster Owners Club. I thought of going hi tech with the lighting but decided on as near to original as possible. If Bosch headlamps exist at realistic prices please let me know where, thanks.

So, how much for the adapter?

Have you checked that headlight is the right dip beam for UK

The adapter with retaining clips was £20, the headlamp £15, and it's UK spec.

I'm actually the proud owner of three, only one of which has a decent reflector, but the point is you can upgrade to any 7 inch format light you want, from stock to stunning outputs, and still use the original bowl etc.

This isn't a genuine part but something one of the members makes in his spare time.
