I was looking forward to a ride out to the Stormy Petrel bike this evening. 6.45 tea was over and the inlaws were fed and watered, they have just arrived from hertfordshire for a very long weekend. I needed to get out, this house is not big enough. 10 mins later and I was kitted out and ready to go.
Pulled out onto the main road and headed towards Whitchurch (shropshire) .It felt really good to be out, but then bang
. Sounds like I'd blown the back end out of the pipe, so I pulled up sharpish and jumped off expecting to see bits of stainless everywhere. But no, where the fcuk the pipe gone? Checked under the bike and see the only bracket that holds the exhaust on has snapped off completely, so where's the zorst gone? A few minutes later and bingo it turns out to be in the long grassy verge about 100 yards down the hill. What a piece of luck just a few scratches but no damage.See if anyone can guess what make of zorst it is
The clue is the bracket.I'll need to talk nice to the welder in work and see if he's got got some extra strong cheese to rustle up a new bracket
