You'd think so wouldn't you, but no. I also asked if someone crashed on day one, or broke down etc so couldn't take part anymore, could there be a back up list, but again no.
I think they just can't be bothered with the additional admin, briefings, noise tests etc

There was also talk of the club booking Anglesey in addition to Snetterton, but no news as yet.

Hmmmm.... I think I gunna have to leave it this year Birdy. 18 in reserve and I can't really risk booking 3 precious annual leave days on a gamble. Looks like a good 2 dayer though and good price with meat roast and free camping. £70 per day! (Just paid No Limits £170 for a day :| )

Next year I will plan a bit better. Did you check their website everyday or do you get a notification email or something. Looks like they sell out in hours!

Anglesea is a track I'd like to visit one day. Definitely a 2 dayer needed for that, 12 hour round trip for us ae!

You get an email notification once signed up, but as you say, it sells out usually in the first or second day. If they do Anglesey as well, it shouldn't sell out quite as fast. At least it didn't when they tried 2 events some years ago.

I have signed up but I haven't paid the £20 annual. If they are only doing Snetterton this year then I'll keep my £20 till next season...I'll keep an eye on their website, if Anglesea is a go I'll gladly pay the £20 plus the whatever. (As long as it doesn't clash with other events planned/paid for)

Cheers for the info Birdy, sounds like you've been with these guys a while.

Hey Birdy. I have Snetterton on Monday, if you're going let me know. I will sub up with OMCC in January and look out for the email notification for next years 2 dayer. I know you're there 19 July, have a good time.

Anyone else there on Monday? Drop me a line.

Nate

I sold one trailer but kept my adjusted small flat bed galvanised one, you can always borrow it. Its nice and low with a fair bit of space for other kit. :yup: That Triumph looks well sorted ;)

Cheers Tad. Hope to see you at the next one. I am hiring a transit from Enterprise £30 per day unlimited milage. Last hire I got a new transit custom with 1500 on the clock, lovely to drive, wish I could buy one but my insurance guy says no no no.

£30 a day is brilliant, I can't get one with them for less than £50 a day!

Book in advance Birdy and they are cheaper during the week too. I have a club membership which gives a 10% discount too...but that finishes in July.

Book through the website then ring them and ask for a ford not a Vauxhall.

It was £64 for 2 days so £32 :oooops:

I get an annual excess insurance voucher too so I don't have to pay their crazy insurance fee.

If you go to their website through Quidco you'll get a further 2.5% cashback.

And excess insurance company Questor does a 10-15% cashback too :)
