On Saturday I did my first Rwyb at Santa Pod since 2014, and l have to say apart from a couple of little niggles it went swimmingly.
I was mainly testing and finding my feet (literally :oooops:) with a whole new riding position and getting to grips with the air shifter I fitted, along with that I had an extended swinging arm, Energy One heavy duty clutch and replaced the rear shock with a solid but adjustable rod,
I can now launch without having to worry about flipping it and although I was taking it fairly easy I managed to beat my previous pb on ET and also better my 60 foot time, the guy on a street fighter turbo Exup got a right fright when I left him at the start and he couldn't catch me before running out of track 8-)......... He came over to look at the air cooled twin with one carb that had just whooped his ass :hehe:.
A fantastic day all round and better still it's happening again next weekend too  cannae wait

I used to be there regularly when I crewed with the Outlaw Anglia, not so much nowadays they only have a couple of public track events per year and rumour has it it's days are numbered due to a new town development in the pipeline :x, there is a couple of events next month and October too at the pod, check out RWYB.co.uk for full details :yup:

Fantastic result, do you want share figures?

I believe it was the last Bulldog this year as the ground has now been sold for development.

Are you planning a visit to the pod, it's a two day event this weekend.
What figures do you have?

Going to be camping in Norfolk then
Unfortunately.

I never had times to shout about, only ever tried a couple of runs at the bulldog 20 years ago, on a XS840. Fluffed the first on the line, front end came up, I shut the throttle and landed badly. Second, cooked the clutch practicing starts.

Those days, a friend of friends ran a super hot Triumph twin (from Ipswich), ended up watching/ talking strip a lot.
