Just wondered if anyone can help out.

I have an XB12 Lightning.

The guy who I bought it off said every time it is fuelled up set the tacho and look to fill it again 100 miles later, makes sense.

When the fuel warning light comes on, on the dash the digital readout changes to a F 0.0 then goes up I assume this is letting you know how many miles you have been running after the warning light.

Other than filling up what sort of mileage can be covered under the warning light, only reason I'm asking is it came on just as I passed Strensham services the next services are around 30 miles away so I pulled off and found a loca garage.

Others will let you know , I`m sure, but have a look through the search .

I've done about 20 miles being careful with the revs,keeping it steady isn't natural to me so I don't know beyond that.

when was it last serviced , std exhaust or after market , what ecu fuel map you using , when was the last TPS reset ..................
just as easy to fill it up run it for a 100 miles then refuel and work out your mpg

says you got 14 litres of go go jucie thats a little over 3 gallons thats British not us
