Thanks for the advice chaps....used eBay and obtained a kit with co2 canisters and inflator. I will get some sealant and use that for my tubed tyres on my old trailie.....the only drawback is that there isn't enough room in the storage area under the pillion with the abus disc lock and tool kit in there so it'll have to be in the jacket pocket!
I did notice at the weekend that Aldi were selling co2 inflator and canister refills and their usual competitive prices if anyone needs spares.....:-)

Hi there,
No recommendations for squirty stuff but would recommend the soft strips you push through the hole & loop then trim I've used them whilst out ridng with great success & in new tyres & they've lasted the tyre out. Try & get black ones squirt some contact adhesive on them, do the stuff to open the hole & stick them in. I say black because some are orange & make the tester to look twice.

Good advice from experience.
