After losing a couple of screws holding the chin fairing on I tend to use loctite quite often now. Is there a rule of when to use/ when to leave dry / when to use copper grease?
If I use loctite frequently on same screws will I need to clean threads each time or can old loctite do the job and not need reapplying ? Can both be used together? ( I'm also a bit paranoid about seized fasteners and rounding off these torx screws, the holes don't seem very deep, think I prefer allen heads)

( Spellchecker keeps correcting me with lactate :P )

Just use copper grease and you won't loose any fasteners.

:yt: but make sure your chin spoiler fasteners are the shouldered OEM versions.

I'll have to try that. Will keep stopping and check tightness when I do.
What no lactate ever? (it did it again!)
