I need to find the best place to purchase , beg , a replacement headlamp unit for my bike S1 lightning to replace the Bosch item currently fitted .. reason being it’s an import and I’ll need a uk spec for the mot.
Any ideas gratefully accepted

Both my S1W and my X1, which I bought in Vegas, still have the USA headlamps fitted.....never even noticed at MOT time.

The headlamp, Bosch, is an obsolete size and on the Monster forums their chosen fix is an "adapter" for the headlamp shell which allows the fitting of any 7ins headlamp unit. This allows you to upgrade your candlepower significantly at reasonable cost. I think there is a kit available on E-bay occasionally but it costs an arm and a leg but if you can find it, it will give you an idea of what's involved. Personally at the moment my S1 and Monster are having to share as the Monster's reflector silvering would more accurately be called browning.
